Dear Tyler,

April turned out to be another busy month for us, surprise, surprise.  With many high school graduations around the corner, we were extremely busy with senior sessions and have more scheduled in May!  They sure are a joy to photograph, the sessions are laid back, fun and exciting.

We continued to spend time tweeking our web presence, updating the website and performing search engine optimization. Check out the site to see the updates!

Now, on with the news.
Josh & Martha's Engagement Session

Engagemenet Session at White Rock
LakeAt the beginning of April we met up with Martha and Josh to take some engagement photographs.
We did their shoot at White Rock Lake and then moved to the West End to get some city shots.  You can view more of their magnificent engagement pictures on our blog.

Cesaley's Senior Session

We had a shoot scheduled for the incredibly beautiful Bonham High School senior, Cesaley, and weren't exactly sure if the weather was going to cooperate.  We lucked out and the rain held off until the very end!  We enjoyed letting Cesaley get a little wet and we were able to test the waterproof nature of our equipment at the same time.  Result...beautiful pictures and Canon's water tight professional line reputation intact.

Senior Portraits in the Park

It's always a pleasure to photograph a strong and beautiful young woman.  Not to mention her being one of our most daring seniors we have ever shot.  We love it when our seniors are more than willing to just drop down into some weeds or pose in the snake infested tall grass!  Just kidding, we always check for snakes.

Molly's Senior Session

Continuing our senior photography saga this month, we met up with the absolutely gorgeous Molly, of Pearce High School in Richardson.  We started out in a park in McKinney had a change of outfit then made our way to the downtown streets.  We walked around downtown McKinney looking for little nooks and crannies to make attractive with young Molly's presence.  We succeed in turning an ugly alley way and a nest of pipes and gauges into something exquisite just by putting Molly next to it.

Senior Portraits in the Park With MollyIt was a pleasure meeting Molly, her mom and her little sister, who came along to the preview session to make nearly all of the image choice decisions.  We look forward to her senior year!

Check out the blog post on Molly's senior portrait session and be sure to leave a comment.

Alyssa and Tim's Wedding {Sneak Peek}

Alyssa and Tim were married at the Hall of State in Fair Park.  This is the first time the Hall has been open for weddings in several years.  We had the pleasure of being the first to photograph in it after the renovations.  The ceremony was outside at the foot of the steps, the weather was perfect, other than the wind that would occasionally knock things over.  This did not stop this happy couple from exchanging their vows at a very historic Dallas landmark.

The reception was one of the most elegant we have seen.  The catering, the flowers, the DJ, and the planning, it was all wonderful and went perfectly!

Look for the pictures to be up soon.
Website Changes

We have been working on our web presence, and made a few modifications to the main site.  We've updated the main navigation bar to include a drop down menu for galleries, raves, categories and pricing.  This is great for jumping right to the page you want to view, and Google likes it too! We also added a search box to the navigation bar, so now you can dig through our site's content all in one location, very handy!

We also updated our primary logo, again.  We (Tyler) can not seem to find one we are happy with, so maybe our company's branding is just going to be that you'll never know what logo or look we have.  :)

We have also added Facebook's "Like" button to all of our posts, so go back through the site and hit the "Like" button on any posts that you... well, like!  Oh and we like (really NEED) your blog comments, so please, drop by, and leave a word, a kind word, come on people, be nice!
Okay, so that's all for now.  We have a truckload of work to do, so until next month, happy trails, same bat time, same bat channel, and goodnight!

Sincerely,

Tyler & Stacia
