Dear Tyler,

March was a busy month for us, go figure, they all seem to be busy months these days.  2010 is booking up quickly and it looks like it will be another busy year.

For some fun, we attended the North Texas Irish Festival and took a quick weekend trip with friends to Amarillo (not sure what we were thinking).  We are blaming our Amarillo trip for the delay in sending out the April Newsletter, sorry!

We spent a lot of time in March tweeking our web presence, updating the website and performing search engine optimization.  Super fun...NOT!
North Texas Irish Festival

The weekend of March 6th, we made the trek to downtown Dallas to attend the North Texas Irish Festival

The Schads

We had a great time watching Irish dancers and a few great bands.  One of our favorites was the Great Big Sea.  Check out all of our North Texas Irish Festival pictures.

Jake's Senior Shoot

We met up with Jake at the Frisco Commons to take his Senior Photographs.  He will be graduating from Lake Dallas in May.  Congratulations Jake!  Check out Jake's Senior Pictures.

Hannah's Senior Shoot

Hannah is a beautiful Senior who is also graduating in May.  She is planning a mission trip to Africa this summer and we wish her safe travels and an experience of lifetime.  Her photographs turned out awesome!  Check out more of Hannah's Senior Photographs on our blog.

An Amarillo "Vacation"

We took a weekend journey with our friends Michael and Tim to Amarillo (some may call it a stay-cation), but since we flew, I guess you can't really call it that.

We ate at the Big Texan, home of the free 72 oz. steak (none of us were willing to take that challenge).  There were two guys that attempted the challenge while we were there.  Just looking at all that food made my stomach hurt.  We also dined at Coyote Bluff Café.  Both the Big Texan and Coyote Bluff were featured on Man v. Food where Adam Richman takes on the spicy "burger from hell" and the 72 oz. steak challenge and is successful!

We made a stop at Cadillac Ranch, a bit of random right off of Route 66.  A bunch of rusted out Cadillacs half buried nose first and spray painted up buy visitors.  Weird...

The second day we traveled to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park for some hiking and outdoor scenery.  We hiked nearly six miles and saw some beautiful landscapes.  It was a great day for hiking and I have know idea how anyone could do it in the heat of the summer.  It was 60 degrees while we were there and we were all hot!

Take care and we'll see you soon.
